Nectar works in partnership with Parents, Educators, and communities to provide Quality Education & Care under the guideline of the EYLF & School Age Framework.

Curriculum For Chidlren

Nectar believes in providing children with education and learning through play. All the interactions, routines, experiences, activities planned or unplanned that occur in an environment to foster children’s learning are considered as Curriculum in early childhood settings.


Nectar educators are provided with training to follow EYLF practices and My Time Our Place school-age framework. Educators follow the planning cycle to observe children’s learning, plan activities according to the child’s needs, interests and strengths and evaluate to plan further.

The EYLF and MTOP describe childhood as a time of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Belonging

is the basis for living a fulfilling life. Children feel they belong because of the relationships they have with their family, community, culture and place.

Being

is about living here and now. Childhood is a special time in life and children need time to just ‘be’—time to play, try new things and have fun.

Becoming

is about the learning and development that young children experience. Children start to form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes the type of adult they will become.
