A little about our organisation
We believe in nurturing a holistic child "In Partnership with You" as an Educator, Family & Community. We regard a child’s early years as having a significant influence on the learning and development throughout the child’s lifetime. This begins by relating to all children in ways that are responsive, affirming and respectful. We firmly believe that responsive & respectful relationships empower the child and provide opportunities for the development of self-esteem, social competence and intellectual growth.
We believe that each child is a fully capable and competent learner who brings along their interests and valuable prior learning from their family, culture and community. This prior knowledge and interests forms an important basis for our reflective practice to contribute in children’s holistic learning and development so that children grow confident and competent emotionally, cognitively, physically, socially and culturally. We support and encourage children’s curiosity, interaction, physical and social competencies in the environment of respect, love, trust and care. These are the foundations for children to build long lasting relationships with world around them and have a successful future learning.
We adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework, Belonging, Being and Becoming and My Time, Our Place School age frameworks to provide equal opportunities in a stimulating, fun, and exciting play based learning environment for all children to think, reason, question and experiment freely. We acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of our families by respecting their values, culture, languages and recognizing the special place of Indigenous Australians.
